Puff pastries with camembert and sun-dried tomato

For this recipe, start by preheating your oven to 180°C. Then cut a puff pastry into several squares and place them on a tray lined with baking paper. Cut the camembert into thick slices and place one on each piece of pastry. Add some sundried tomatoes chopped into small pieces, a bit of fresh oregano and a drizzle of honey to give an irresistible sweet and savory touch. Fold the corners of the pastry towards the center to form a small turnover. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the pastries are nicely golden.

Tip:

Remember to brush your pastries with a little beaten egg before baking them, this will give them a nice golden and shiny color.

Crostini style Camembert and its salad

For a change of pace, why not try this recipe inspired by the famous Italian crostini? To do this, cut a rustic bread into thick slices, lightly toasted so they are crispy. Generously spread each slice with camembert (previously taken out of the refrigerator to be at room temperature and easier to spread). Then sprinkle your toasts with a few pieces of walnut, finely chopped celery stalk and raisins to bring a bit of crunch and sweetness. Serve accompanied by a nice green salad seasoned with walnut oil, perfect to contrast with the richness of the cheese.

Variant:

Do not hesitate to replace the walnuts with toasted pine nuts and the celery stalks with slices of pear to once again play on the differences in textures and flavors.
