Montblanc is full of new releases at Watches & Wonders 2024! The brand unveils no less than 5 new watches as a preview at the prestigious Geneva salon, particularly within its Iced Sea collection. This is enriched with two new model references inspired by the multiple colors of glaciers. And against all odds, light blue or silver white are not on the menu!
The amazing colors of Montblanc glaciers
Since its launch in 2022, the Montblanc Iced Sea Automatic Date collection has captivated watch enthusiasts with dials reminiscent of the glaciers of the Sea of Ice, in the Mont-Blanc massif.
This year, the German brand is taking advantage of the Watches & Wonders show to introduce two bold new editions: a version in bronze with a glacier black dial, and another in stainless steel with a glacier burgundy dial. It may not be immediately obvious, but these two models do indeed reflect the colors of the frozen landscapes… at sunset!
These watches are not only distinguished by their unexpected color palette. Thus, the bronze model is made of cuproaluminum, a specific alloy, stronger than traditional bronze, but also promising a beautiful patina over time. Its dial features a unidirectional bezel bi-color in anodized aluminum, adorned with a new Montblanc Iced Sea emblem inspired by the vintage export seal of Minerva.

As for the burgundy model, it features a unidirectional black ceramic bezel and an adjustable stainless steel bracelet, designed to perfectly fit all wrists.
In both cases, this 41 mm watch (with a thickness of 12.9 mm) boasts a unique dial. Its effectiveness resides in a special engraving technique called wood-scraping, which creates an unparalleled depth and brightness effect. When combined with a laser engraving process on the case back, it gives the watches exceptional realism and depth, with a striking contrast between matte and glossy finishes. In addition to being (very) beautiful, these new Montblanc watches are built for adventure, as the brand promises excellent resistance to shocks, magnetic fields, extreme temperatures, and water (up to about 300 m).
Inside, the MB 24.17 movement designed on a Sellita SW200 base gives this Iced Sea a 38h power reserve.

The other new features from Montblanc at the Watches & Wonders show
As we’ve said, if these new Iced Sea have caught our eye, they are not the only novelties exhibited by Montblanc at Watches & Wonders. In the aisles of Palexpo, visitors can discover three other watches just as appealing at the brand’s booth with the white star.
Unveiled Minerva Monopusher Chronograph
The limited edition Unveiled Minerva Monopusher Chronograph, produced in just 100 pieces, is distinguished by its 43mm steel case, which incorporates sapphire glass openings. These allow the new MB M17.26 calibre to be revealed, a manual winding movement with 291 components, perfectly highlighted at the heart of this timepiece.
Topped with a grooved white gold bezel, this watch elegantly combines the functionality of a single-push chronograph with a contemporary bluish design, also visible through sapphire glass openings.

1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen CARBO²
The 1858 Geosphere 0 Oxygen CARBO² LE 1969, limited edition to 1969 pieces, pays tribute to the pioneering spirit of mountaineering. This innovative timepiece combines a CARBO² case, a composite material incorporating CO2 2 from the production of biogas and mineral waste from recycling plants, with a unique aesthetics reflecting adventure and discovery.
The 43.5 mm titanium and CARBO² case features a luminescent engraving of Mont Blanc, visible only to its wearer, evoking the majesty and mysteries of the mountain. Equipped with an MB 29.25 automatic movement with universal time complication, this watch illustrates Montblanc’s expertise in the fusion of avant-garde materials with an iconic and functional design.
Its dial, inspired by icy textures, and its interchangeable strap designed for exploration, make the Geosphere 0 Oxygen a masterful piece for modern adventurers. A toolwatch of modern times that is certainly not lacking in elegance!

Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810
Finally, to complete the circle, we return to the Iced Sea family. But rather than the high peaks, this time we’re heading for the great depths with this Iced Sea 0 Oxygen Deep 4810 waterproof to… 4810 meters!
With its robust titanium case and a dial inspired by the icy depths of the Sea of Ice, this timepiece blends captivating aesthetics and extreme performance. Equipped with a COSC-certified MB 29.29 automatic movement and boasting a five-day power reserve, this watch is designed to offer unwavering accuracy in the most hostile conditions. The integrated “Zero Oxygen” technology prevents fogging and oxidation, extending the durability and reliability of the mechanism.
