Veja x Studies: the Fitz Roy reinvents itself
Veja is celebrating this season! After announcing the return of its very first model, the Volley, the French brand is teaming up with its “experimental and contemporary” counterpart Etudes Studio.
And rather than one of its most iconic models (the V-10 or the Esplar to name just two), it’s a more technical model that’s at the heart of this collaboration, the Fitz Roy. Usually presented as a hiking shoe, it is regularly reinterpreted as part of limited editions, as was the case with Sea Shepherd.
While working with Etudes, Veja proposes a minimalist version inspired by the “landscapes of the Vercors massif”. To realize this, the Fitz Roy displays mineral shades of grey, covered by the identifying blue of Etudes and the initials of the two brands. Beyond style, eco-responsibility is also on the menu, with an upper made of 100% recycled Trek-Shell polyester and a tight weave treated with a PFC-free durable water repellent. Technical, ecological, aesthetic, this pair of sneakers, priced at 255€, really has it all!

Converse x A-COLD-WALL: raw in style
It’s not just the Chuck Taylor at Converse! While it’s not the most widely known to the general public, the Weapon is another reference highly appreciated by the brand’s fans. And it’s precisely this model that’s at the heart of the new collaboration between Converse and the British label A-Cold-Wall.
This is not the first time the two houses have worked together, they had previously revisited the Geo Format Boot and then the Aeon Active CX in 2020. This time, the new Weapon Ox is a refurbished and corrected version of the model released in 1986 and notably worn on NBA courts by a certain Magic Johnson.

Once again, A-Cold-Wall delivers a raw interpretation, drawing its inspiration from the world of architecture. It includes all the codes of the London brand, such as asymmetry, exploration of materials, and sober colors. Like a sculpted concrete block, the Weapon Ox is adorned with crinkled gray nylon and suede, while discreet topstitching and clean lacing give a new face to Converse sneakers.
Priced at 130€, this pair is THE star of the capsule collection by Converse and A-Cold-Wall, which also includes a reversible jacket, a unisex t-shirt, and pants.

New Balance: three new looks for the 1906
530, 9060, 327, 2002, Protection Pack… Sneakers fans are spoiled for choice at New Balance. And among all these ultra-popular references, the 1906 also holds a good place, embodying the very essence of the Y2K running style.
For this spring 2024, she adds even more vintage touches to this 2000s look, through 3 new colours available exclusively at Courir. These three unisex versions play on a sober and rather elegant palette, between grey, pink and varying levels of intense green. Their price is set at 160€.
