Why Chicago is a Must-Visit Beer Destination

Chicago is known for its rich history and diverse culture, but did you know that it’s also one of the beer capitals of the craft scene in the United States? With over 160 breweries, the city offers an impressive variety of styles and flavors. From classics like Goose Island to innovators like Revolution Brewing and Half Acre, each neighborhood of the city has its own beer gems.

In 2024, Chicago breweries stand out for their innovations. Beers aged in barrels, for example, bring complex flavors with notes of oak, vanilla and unique aromas from the bourbon or wine barrels used. In addition, the integration of advanced technologies allows brewers to manage their operations more efficiently, thus improving the customer experience and the quality of beers.
