The Admiral collection is (along with the Bubble and the Golden Bridge) one of the most iconic of Corum house. In this year 2024, it is renewed through two new masculine versions.
If we recognize the iconic design of the Admiral, the watch is adorned with a superb meteorite dial. A real current trend… but not a first for Corum!
Corum and the meteorite, a long love story
Many are unaware, but Corum is the first watch brand in the world to have created a watch with a meteorite dial. This was in 1986 and it was the… Meteorite. Makes sense!
While this stardust is very fashionable in contemporary watchmaking, the La Chaux-de-Fonds brand could not remain indifferent to the competition: meteorite is therefore making its comeback in the collections and is enhancing the dial of the Admiral 42.
To carve this piece, Corum used a meteorite over 4 billion years old, originating from Sweden. It appears in its natural gray color or tinted blue, but always with that particular texture, these “Windmanstätten figures” that make each watch unique.

Connoisseurs will be delighted to discover the aesthetic codes of the Admiral 42 family, starting with this 42mm diameter case topped by a dodecagonal bezel (12-sided). The rhodium-plated appliques with their gray nautical pennant shape are a reminder that this watch draws its inspiration from yacht racing.
To bring it all to life, Corum has installed its CO 395 automatic movement at the heart of the box, ensuring no less than 42 hours of power reserve.

Malachite and Aventurine for the feminine version
If the 42 mm watch seems tailored for male wrists, Corum has also expanded its female collection with two 38 mm versions. But rather than meteorite, the Admiral 38 is adorned with natural stone, with green malachite or blue aventurine for a more “precious” style.
This touch of luxury and sophistication is found in the composition of the case, in 18 carat rose gold, as well as on the bezel, set with 72 diamonds. Powered by the CO 082 movement visible through the transparent back, the Admiral 38 is an authentic jewel, the price of which peaks at 27,100 CHF, or approximately 28,000 euros.
The two variants of the Admiral 42 Meteorite watch (ref. A395/04482 & A395/04480) are available from 7900 CHF, around 8000 euros.
